Danged Wet Cigars

Last week, every cigar I smoked out of my coolerdor had a tight draw to it, if it was smokeable at all.

Plus, about 1/2way through each cigar, the darn thing would turn bitter and be unsmokeable.

My Diamond Crown digital hygrometer says 67% or 68% whenever I open the cooler, but I wonder if either (A) the hygrometer is off or ( that's just too wet for my cigars???

I have re-seasoned a desktop humi and filled it with a week's worth of smokes, and right now it's holding in the low 60 % RH range [same hygrometer, I need to test it], and the one stick I had from it so far smoked far better than the ones that have come out of my cooler lately.

Any thoughts / ideas on this?

-John
