Cigars On Cruise Ships
Never been on a cruise before.
I am going on the Royal Caribbean Majesty of Seas next month from Miami to the Bahamas Is smoking allowed? Do they sell Cuban cigars on the ship? If they do are they priced reasonably or are they a rip off? Thanks in advance for the info |

Royal Caribbean typically has a bar that is set aside for cigar smokers in the evening. (The Cigar Bar). The Jewel of the Seas did sell cigars, but no Cubans. If you have an outside cabin with a balcony, usually you can smoke out there. Check to confirm. I was on the Majesty several years ago, but didn't smoke at that time so I don't know what they have on that particular ship.
Which USVI you located on? Have friends and relatives on St. Thomas and St. John.

Yes the RC cruises I have been on in the past had a designated cigar lounge, open at certain times. They also sold cigars and fine liquors in that area.

I've sailed on this ship a couple of times and they allow smoking on one side of the ship only. There is a stand where they sell cigars and you have to notify one of the workers there for them to unlock the humidor for purchase...they are not cheap and the humidor didn't appear all that great as I always bring my own. The ship is nice enough but as I said you are better off bringing your own. My cruise went to Nassau, Key West and their private island on a 4 night cruise. They say that the Viking Room doubles as a Cigar Lounge...on my cruises they did not allow cigars in there so call before so you know.

I'm topping this one too.
See my post about Carnival Cruise Line, updated. On the Carnival Dream the only cigar smoking location is outside on the Lanai, port side.

Never been on a cruise ship, all I know is that on our annual trip to Cabo is that when they dock all process in town go way up. So I'd assume their on board cigars are way over priced and bring my own.
