Sam Adams
I have not had a chance to drop by the liquor store in the last week or so. Does anybody know if Octoberfest is still on the shelves or has it been replaced with Winter Ale? Thanks in advance.

I believe you will find mostly the Winter Ale.
The Winter Ale is a very fine brew especially on draught.

Thats what i figured. I was hoping to buy a couple cases of Octoberfest before it went out of season, but Winter Ale sounds like a winner too.

The Oktoberfest doesnt stay on the shelves very long. Maybe next year I'll get me an extra case. But that's what I told myself last year.

I know they're two different styles but the Winter Al, IMO, is a far superior beer to their Octoberfest.

I agree with that. The Winter Lager is a pretty unique brew.

I might just have to make a stop on the way home tonight. I could go for something unique.

They have a holiday collection with 8 different sam adams brews and they released an imperial pilsner as part of the brewers collection. I have not seen the oktoberfest in a good month although I only have one small liquor store so you might get lucky at a large well stocked one.
