Thunderbird lighters by KGM
I've been hearing snippets about these lighters of late and I was wondering if any of you owned one? These are essentially identical to a Zippo lighter, only they work on refillable butane. They're made by Vector and for the price, I'm very interested in picking one up if I hear more good things about them.

I love the one I've got.
However I heard, but have not verified, that Vector doesn't make them anymore.

Are they torch or regular flame?

They are flame. They look and work exactly like a Zippo, but use butane.

My absolute favorite lighter of all time, and I lost it in a strip club about a month ago... Makes me cry just to think about it...
I've also heard that Vector isn't making them anymore, either. Or at least they no longer have the same dimensions as a Zippo now. If anyone knows where the original Thunderbird is still being sold, post it here!

Well, I purchased a couple from the link posted above, and got them just the other day. All I can say is that they work perfectly, and I don't think I'll ever use a torch on my stogies again. The light with the soft flame was much better than the blasting hot torch flame.
