Tupperware humi ??

I have got myself in a jam , my humidor is full and I have 100 more cigars coming anyday now...

I currently dont have room for a big cooler , thats down the road...

I was thinking of using boveda packs , and a large enough tupperwsre container to hold the stix , maybe throw in a couple pieces of cedar...

Also , best way to clean tupperware before using it ??

I would not use Tupperware. There needs to be some air exchange over time or the cigars end up with too much moisture. This will cause the cigars to swell causing tight draw and cracked wrappers. A humidor allows some air exchange over time and some moisture evaporation, which is good for cigar storage. Tupperware is just too air tight.

Then again, if you must use Tupperware, be sure it is new Tupperware to avoid mold growth. I would not use Tupperware that was storing food. Also be sure to open the lid to allow air in and keep the moisture from building up.

If you are buying something new, I am trying out "snapware" from amazon with boveda packs. The snapware wasn't fast to ship so you could look at ziplock weather shield too if you can get the right size.

I just washed with dish soap before using.

I would think one or two 48 quart coolers would work for you. You could always take the cigars out of the boxes and lay them in the cooler to save space. I have a 48 quart Igloo cooler and I keep 12 boxes and about 30 individual cigars in mine. Don't forget the beads and hygrometer!

I was going to suggest a cooler from Walmart, but I guess that the ziplock bags will have to do for now.

Tupperware is fine, if you're opening them every week or so.
Coolers are preferable because of insulation.
If you have a 1Gallon water bottle, that can sub - for about 40 cigars depending on sizes.
Finally, 2 zip seal bags, one inside the other - or, multiple quart size bags inside a gallon or 2 gallon size bag...

I've mickymoused my share of storage options!

Coolers, Rubbermaid, Tupperware, doesn't matter.

A light spritz with Windex, wipe with paper towel, fifteen minutes of air dry.

Simple.
