Clownshow

Even Stephen A Smith, whom I can't stand came out blasting Kapernick for that clownshow near Atlanta. You would think Kapernick has to know his NFL career is now over. If you watched Kapernick speak to the few NFL folks that were there it is most evident that football is not what's on his mind. He is a complete clueless self absorbed child. Speaking of self absorbed children watch Dan Snyder and Bruce Allen make Kapernick an offer......

Many NFL owners and all of the NFL's senior staff are charter members of the More Money Than Brains club.

didn't the NFL ask Kapernick to do the 'pro day' event? I didn't think he asked to do it.

The NFL and team owners don't really want CK back, but it's likely they made this gesture as part of the collusion settlement.

CK doesn't really want to play anymore, he just wants a grand stage to preach his causes.

everything I have read is that it was not part of the settlement. And in Chicago, with a failed QB, all you hear about is QBs. Kapernick was a hot topic here. Word was he was very suspicious about the whole thing, which is understandable. But if he told you it was all a show, then I take your word for it. Tell him hi next time you talk!

It likely wasn't part of the settlement, but he has now guaranteed that no NFL franchise will go anywhere near signing him. The thought occurs that the NFL did this knowing that he would pull a stunt in order to make him radioactive to any team tempted to sign him, but I don't think they're that smart.

There's a metric crapload of iron in those words. This idiot fucked his career up by trying to be a political martyr.

You bought it, Kap. Now you have to fucking own it.

You're in a tight spot. If you don't take ownership of it, you're just another fucking hypocrite.

Period. End of story.

Sounded good on paper, didn't it? But, according to The Law of Unintended Consequences, you also put a multi million dollar career in your rearview mirror.

Fucking deal with it and STFU about how unfair it is. Nobody forced you take a knee.

Kap's career was going down hill rapidly. This "stunt" was probably the best financial decision he has made. The liberal media keeps promoting him as a hero and he's collecting money for it. He's made millions through endorsements and the so-called settlement with the NFL.

Three YEARS ago, now, in his last season ON the field, he was 1-10 in his last 11 starts.
