Walmart Hygro
I ran across these (Springfield Precisetemp) at walmart yesterday for $8.00 (edit - $6.24).
I didn't calibrate, but after 24 hours it reads exactly the same as my Western Dig. and my 2 Radio Shacks (I lined them all up on the middle shelf of my Anteitam to test). No backlight, but it keeps a high and low reading and it's got a three-way clip-stand-magnet thingy on the back. Looks to be a good little hygro, especially for under $8.00.

Sometimes Lawn & Garden, sometimes near Tools & Hardware, maybe even Heaters & Air Conditioners. Usually with thermometers (large indoor/outdoor type).

I have one of these. Paid $6.50.
It consistently reads 8% low on the humidity. Temp is right on. |
