Any Lucinda Williams fans?

I'm going to see her for the first time this weekend.

Great songwriter with a voice that is an acquired taste.

Incredible voice in my opinion. But an aquired taste. Kind of like Dylan.

I used to be a huge fan. Car Wheels on a Gravel Road is an INCREDIBLE album. But I think that was her creative peak. Her song "Changed the Locks" was a great one but I also really like Tom Petty's cover of it. But then I also think that Mary Chapin Carpenter did a better job with "Passionate Kisses."

Big Lu fan here. Carwheels is a fantastic album, but I like everything she's done. She definitely doesn't have a typical songbird's voice, but she's able to express a wide range of deep emotions with her twangy drawl.

I've only been lucky enough to see her once in Dublin a few years ago and it was an amazing show. The Irish audience absolutely loved her, especially after she said that the crowd at the previous night's show in London was a bunch of zombified stiffs.

Her band is usually top notch, especially Doug Pettibone on guitar. Please let us know how the show was.

While I think it is hard to top Car Wheels, her new album West is amazing.

Just got "West", and it's pretty good. I like some of the slow burn songs that she does a lot. My favorite type of song.
