Help with humidifying odd-shaped humi

I'm trying to humidify this Partagas 150 signature series humidor:

David (Viper) was gracious enough to calculate the correct amount of 65% beads given the dimensions of the humidor, concluding that a half-pound should be more than sufficient. I've placed beads in each of the three bottom drawers (approx one-quarter pound per drawer), and a hygrometer in the top center drawer. After a few days, i'm only getting 50%. Here are the problems--the humi doesn't seem to have a tight seal, and furthermore, each drawer has a solid bottom, no space for the humidity to circulate throughout. Any ideas? Of course, placing the hygrometer in one of the drawers with the beads shows an acceptable RH. Maybe a Heartfelt humi tube in each drawer? Thanks in advance. Eric
