Antietam humidity question.

Ok, I ordered an Antietam last Friday and got it today. Absolutely beautiful. I extracted it from the two seperate boxes it was packaged in and admired it. It sat out on a glassed in deck that had the door open and its very rainy outside. About 6 hours later, I finally moved it to my office at home and stuck my hygro in it. Amazingly, its reading close to 64-65% and is steady.

I know about seasoning, but is it possible it absorbed all this humidity from the rain we have gotten over the last 2 days? I have several containers of distilled water sitting in it while I wait for the Cigar Oasis Plus to arrive but it seems to already be seasoned. Surely not.
