Okay sorry to be the cynical (cryptical) other one but come on that is totally silly and greedy. My heyday was later 80's early 90's and they were totally whack then. Useless Blues, Black Scuzzy Water, Throwing Stones and we thought it was the shit. Yes, I've heard some of the shows mentioned earlier and that seems to be the prime (68 to mid 70's). I bought a JGB show that is very strong and rekindles some of the old feelings. I have fond recollections of a murderous Black Peter in Cleveland, first post-Brent show. After listening to the tape I now see it was the 200 mics. Alpine was a blast but their playing was rarely a shadow of what it was on the left coast.

The Fat Man played to feed his jones. Sad but true.
