Radio Shack remote Temp/Hygro systems
When shopping in store for units found they had a clearance going on. Very limited supply but you might check.
I picked up an expandable unit for about $5 more than the sensors alone. Bought two (come with one sensor) and one additional sensor. Checked calibration and all within 2% RH  Kind of needed remotes for my coolers as they are stacked. Just an FYI
