Opinions on possible new humidor
Looking at getting something a little larger than what I have that holds 85 cigar, packed to the brim.
So far, I'm looking at: The Landmark 300ct with 2 accessories drawers $166 from Prestige Import Group, 3.5 stars from 30 ratings The Traditional 200ct $203 from Quality Importers Trading, 4 stars from 38 ratings Ravello 300ct with 2 accessories drawers $179 from Humidor Supreme, 4 stars out of 84 ratings. All information is from Amazon just for the sake of Ease and ratings. I may buy the one I decide on elsewhere that's reputable (any suggestions on reputable humidor sellers is appreciated too. I'm aware that The Landmark is sold by cheaphumidors.com, which the co- owner and wife is active on CigarBum forums and is well known as being reputable) I like the looks of The Traditional the best, and its plenty big and has sufficient dividers as I dont really use them, then I like The Ravello wood over the otherwise identical Labdmark, and do like the accessories drawers. Decisions, decisions... Last edited by smbauerllc; 04-17-2023 at 10:23 AM. |

Ultimately decided it wasnt really necessary as the temp in my room is about 70 deg + or - 5 deg as it has its own thermostat and heating and cooling and i just really like the look of wood better. Plus the difference in price.
Plus someone i know has tried every method the is for storing cigars, brought up some issues with the wineadors he experienced. i friggin love cigars |

For what its worth, I think a decent humidor is a better idea for you than a wineador. Unfortunately I don't know anything about current sources or quality.

I think this one is pretty cool:
Woodronic LED Lighted Cigar Humidor Cabinet for 100 to 150 Cigars with Digital Hygrometer, Spanish Cedar Lining, 3 Large Drawers, 2 Crystal Gel Humidifiers, Glossy Ebony Finish https://a.co/d/5lte04M |

4.5 stars out of over 1800 reviews is pretty amazing. Must really be well built and a good seal. Anything with glass doors typically makes me nervous about having a good seal when closed.
It does have 3 bins, so if you overfill them (meaning higher than the sides of the drawers) it may actually hold 100 to 150. Will have to do some reading of the reviews and see what people say about capacity. It may end up in the running. I friggin love cigars |

I just noticed they make a 250ct version too, but Amazon wont let me select it or look at it, so I'm guessing that means they are out of stock on them
ETA: I was able to select the 250ct finally, its $450. Well outside what I'm willing to pay for a humidor unfortunately. Also the 250ct is only available in ebony, which I don't find attractive. Last edited by smbauerllc; 04-18-2023 at 08:05 AM. |
