Meh. Tart, a bit malty, and it had a weird smoky/toasty taste that I had never before encountered, and I finally realized it was rye. It has a taste with what may be pumpernickel toast. It's listed as 23 IBU, but I don't think that is really showing. the tartness overwhelms the hops, and pretty much everything else. It feels thin, the carbonation was only moderate, it's only 4.5 abv, and in all aspects, it just feels weak.

I don't know, maybe it will grow on me, but I don't even feel that I can give it a fair review. it is so far out of my usual range, and I'm just not feeling impartial enough to leave out my personal feelings. My actual impression is to give it about a 75 to 80. I like the rye taste, but everything else about the beer is just kinda wrong. Like I could just put some chicory in a bottle of budweiser.
