Herrera Esteli Brazilian Stalk Cut Maduro
It’s hard to find Lanceros and Lonsdales these days. So when I do find them, I’m prone to taking my chances on them. I recently bought a box of these cigars from cigar bid and pulled my first one out today to smoke.
I’m really enjoying the cigar and I’m pleased with my purchase, however I am experiencing something I’ve never seen before. The cigars very clearly have a pink/purple hued ash. I’ve heard of blue smoke but I have never heard of pink ash. Take a look at these pictures and tell me what you think. Is this evidence of dye? https://imgur.com/a/oHI3F2b https://i.imgur.com/nh1eBzl.jpg https://i.imgur.com/yUQ0Llz.jpg |

New one on me. Is that a puro? Or do you know the blend in terms of origin?

I smoked a few of these and have never noticed the pink hue.

Encased in a dark and spicy Brazilian Mata Fina wrapper and brimming with Nicaraguan fillers, this cigar offers a bold, exotic profile that’s as satisfying as it is unique. |

The color of the ash, as we know, is usually a function of nutrients/fertilizers in the soil.
