Recovery time for cigars that traveled

Why does it take so long for the recovery time from shipments? Even when they ship with bovedas it doesn't make a difference.

I've traveled 1/2 way around the world with cigars in a travel humid and they smoke as good as when I left the states. But a package from PA to Ohio that lands in 2 days takes 4-6 weeks to recover. LOL.
