I remember a song, but all the searches I've done on the possible title have come up zero.
The song starts woth a monologue about the guy playing guitar on the sidewalk in Soho. A cop comes by and arrests him for disturbing the peace. At the trial, the cop tells the judge that the guy was playing "Boojie-woojie" music, which is a "jazz-blues type of music peculiar to the American Negro." So don't try to lay no Boojie-Woojie on the King of Rock and Roll!!! Pleez help with artist and song name. This is driving me up the wall!!! Don't put gum in my ashtray and I won't put my cigar out in your mouth. Deal?
