A Pair of Very Rich Dry White Wines
One from France and another from Spain...
"R" de Bordeaux is a dry white produced at Chateau Rieussec in the Sauternes region, predominantly from non-botrytis-affected Semillon grapes. Marques de Murrieta Reserva comes from the Rioja region of Spain. Both of these wines combine voluptuous fruit with apparent oak and are suitable for extremely rich seafood dishes along the lines of lobster souffle. They WILL cellar very nocely. Not cheap, but a real treat for any upcoming special occassions this summer. Serve chilled but NOT too cold.
