I have the one with the Silver Surfer on the cover, but I've never heard any Satriani besides that. I kind of forgot about him.

Joe has about 22 albums in his catalog. 3 are live recordings that are really good.

Steve Lukather from Toto has a few single albums I’m checking out. This one is from 2010. Lots of Toto influence. I like it.

He is a phenomenal guitarist, one of the greats IMO. He's been on hundreds of albums from rock to jazz. Check out his band Los Lobotomys if you haven't already.

Gerry Mulligan: Night Lights... A mellow jazz album that's perfect listening on a rainy Saturday afternoon. Art Farmer chimes in some nice solos as well.

Lukather and the boys from Toto had their hands in everything great for a few decades. Unbelievable talent and skill.

After watching a really good documentary about A&M records on Epix last night, I dug up my copy of Sergio Mendez and Brazil '66. Grew up listening to this record and it sounds just as fresh as the first time I heard it 50 years ago.

Also dug out my Claudine Longet records, on the same label. There was a gamine beauty if ever I saw one. The Shacks lead singer reminds me of her and a young Mia Farrow.

Found an odd cd this weekend that I love. Its called "Rhythm Country and Blues". It pairs up an R&B singer with a Country Music singer on each track. There are some great duets on this release.
Al Green and Lyle Lovett singing Funny how times slips away.
Aron Neville and Trisha Yearwood singing I Fall to Pieces.
Little Richard and Tanya Tucker singing Somthin' Else
Chet Atkins and Alan Toussiant singing Southern Nights. Just to list a few.
