Cracked head after cut
I recently purchased a cigar out of a walk-in humidor to immediately smoke. I don't normally do this, but this day was one of those days. Anyway, after I used my V-cutter the head split parallel with the cigar. This created the "broken straw effect" and I could no longer get a good draw off my stick.
Is wetting the head of the cigar permissible to moisten before cutting so this doesn't happen? |
