If my cigars have been stored at 78f and 63 rh for 4 weeks, wouldn't beetles have already hatched if they were going to?

RH is not really a factor in egg clusters hatching or not, it's the temp. that matters. I would say after 4 full weeks, there's a good chance any viable eggs if present would probably have hatched, but not a certainty.

Sometimes the eggs can lay dormant for years.

Just think about this........When cigars are shipped by plane. Temps rise to over 180 degrees f. Just foungd this out from the post office and Fed Ex
