Humipouch uses...question

For reasons too absurd to go into, I now have three Fuente Humipouches that I don't need. The humidifying packets are still 'good,' so I am looking to find a use for them. My question:

Is there any danger and/or benefit to placing them in boxes of cigars? I was thinking of doing this for the boxes at the bottom and top of my coolerdor, as they seem the most at risk for humidity 'issues.' But I don't want to do it if there is a potential problem for the cigars inside the boxes.

If I do it, should I put a piece of paper or cellophane between the humidifying packet and the (naked) cigars?

Any thoughts?

Thanks ahead of time...

John
