Omelets. There's no way I'm prepping and cooking a shrimp stir fry tonight. XL shrimp (21-25 ct) are running 5.77 a pound this week. Far cheaper than steak.

We had white gravy over rice and cube steak. I hadn't had cube steak since my mom made it for me. It was good.

Last night was shrimp stir fry. Tonight is shepards pie. Tomorrow might be ham and beans or split pea soup. Suppsosed to snow and ice Saturday night/Sunday so I'm trying to make stuff I can heat up over the stove or fireplace if we lose power.

I ate an entire Asian bag salad from Walmart. Their "Artisian" salads are actually good. I nuked some peperoni to have some protein. it's all I could find.

Weatherman calling for more snow this weekend. So i got the fixins to make homemade French onion soup and stuff to make Cuban sammiches. Sans the Cuban bread didn't feel like driving to Publix to get it so I got Italian bread. So, that's two meals over the snowy weekend.

Tonight we made Cuban sammies on Cuban bread, homemade ham croquetas with a creamy lime cilantro sauce. And I made the simple fudge posted here somewhere. Half with toasted pecans. They were a hit!
