Curivari Achilles Robusto

This cigar has a dark, silky smooth wrapper. The bunch is firm. The cold draw is a bit looser than perfect. Heady aromas of cocoa and cedar notes come from the foot. Today’s beverage is a Shiner Bock.



The cigar starts off very smooth and cedary. The retrohale has a good dose of black pepper. The burn is even.



In the first third earthiness and a touch of cocoa join the flavor profile. The pepper in the retrohale has settled a bit as well. The burn is becoming somewhat uneven but I will see if it corrects itself.



During the second third the burn has evened out. The complexity of flavors remains excellent. The pepper in the retrohale has come back to full. This is a medium to full bodied smoke.



Approaching the final inch the complexity of flavors remains excellent. The construction is good if a bit loose, causing the cigar to burn faster and get a bit too warm, which I dealt with purging more than usual. Still a fine cigar that I will definitely smoke again. 9.4/10, Joe Bob says check it out.
