Is holding a BS call?
I can't think of one college team, the SEC in particular, that does not hold..to some degree in EVERY game I've seen. Some more blatant than others. But in every game, I've seen.
But it is not called every play. So what's the point? Can someone clarify the rule for me? Is it just holding, when they grab jersey, but can't maintain grip, and the defender still get's around? A brief grab of the jersey is called sometimes, and other times, a blatant grab of the BACK of the jersey is ignored, even front of the Refs. I've seen defenders get pushed down, and in some games it's called a great block...and in some games, it's called holding. And I've seen holding called, when even the commentators can't find ANY video evidence of such. Seems to me, it's the most unevenly enforced rule in College football.
