@Bayouboy i have also had this problem on rare occasion and I suspect that you are correct, and its from uneven humidification, or just an improperly rolled cigar, as we all need to remember that these are all handmade products, and aren't the easiest thing to make properly by hand, especially every single time. For me, i typically notice it happening with smokes that have an extremely easy draw and that feel squishy in spots, or with the entire cigar. Just my observation of a fair number of the times it has happened to me. As far as correcting the problem, if caught fairly early, the liberal application of spit over the hot spot repeatedly until the rest of the cigar catches up to that point, works very well.
