What a coincidence
Murray State is playing Ball State this weekend. My dad taught at both of the colleges. Later in the day, Alabama is playing the University of Louisiana at Monroe.
My Alma mater is playing K's Alma mater. What a neat coincidence.

She'll probably be at work until after halftime, but I will be.

Wish 'Bama would have laid the wood to UT, but a win is a win.

It was an ugly win, but still a win. I didn't think UT would put up that much of a fight. After that game, I'm sure Coach Saban is going to run a lot of tackling drills this week.

I maintain college football is broken , Kent State a MAC team played #1 Georgia today ,spread was 45 , Georgia won as expected , but only by 17...
Kent has had arguably the toughest schedule so far in college... two other games they played this year. Current no. 18 Washington and no. 6 Oklahoma Dan

In that the big teams need to play each other much more often. I know it's really not feasible due to how many years out the schedules are made.
My thought, while I know it's not a possibility, 13 games , first 3 are the fluff games so to speak then onto the real season etc... Too much for typing , but , I want to see the perennial big teams , across conferences play each other more often. As an Ohio State fan , I would love to see them play Alabama every year. I think that would be a great game no matter who won , I think we play them back to back years in 26/27. Dan

And while I am sort of against the super-conferences , I think if they go that route we will see more challenging games across the board.
