Best band in the history of recorded music

Johnny Cash and the Tennessee Three.

I dare you to argue that point.

Best band EVER? Shew, Rush is not my cup'o'tea. I've tried a few times to give them a closer listen but just can't do it. His voice grates on me something awful.

I was hoping you'd be more specific. Glenn Miller and Louis Armstrong were pretty damned good.

Glenn was wonderful....Tommy Dorsey, Benny Goodman, Any band with Miff Mole or J.C. Higginbotham or Barney Bigard -- it's kind of an endless list.

Hard to pin it down to just one band, the best band.

Cool

Louis Armstrong is the musical father of his country & should be on the $5 bill.

Don't forget Count Basie. He and his band had a great run.
