Cigar Weekly

Hey guys

Approximately 3 weeks ago, I brought back a box of PSD4's from my vacation, so the day after I went out to buy a humidor, after I seasoned it by wiping down the wood lightly with a damp towel with distilled water (I know, it's bad for the wood to take the moisture like that) I figured I would be able to put the cigars in as the outside RH was approximately 40% and the inside RH of the humi was approximately 60%.

It's now 3 weeks later, and my humi is holding around 65-69% rh, only problem is, when I touch the cigars, and give them the pinch test, i can hear a slight crackle coming from them.
Any suggestions as to what I should do? How long does it take for the cigars to go stale? I just hope that I havent ruined them yet.
