Colibri lighter needs help - self-fix possible?

Greetings all -

My Colibri is a torch lighter, perhaps 8 years old (I don't know the model, BTW). The problem is this: after years of use, and only recently, the flame has transformed from a hard torch with a clear strong blue flame to a "wobbly" flame that is much wider in base and blows around in the wind when I am lighting a cigar outside.

Is there a fix for this? I always use Colibri butane, and bleed the chamber before adding new fuel.

Any ideas - besides some sort of erectile dysfunction medication??? I add that part after re-reading my description, which makes it sound like I could be seeking a urologist's opinion for a different problem!!

If not, anyone know where to send it for service? I assume it's long out of warranty.
