Time is a variable that you have not mentioned. The Humidipak should compensate for temperature changes, but it can take a few days for the RH to catch up with temperature changes, given various environmental factors. How long was the period between temperature readings? It takes longer for the RH to change/"normalize" than it takes for the temp to change.
In general, I would not worry about it if you have let it sit for a few days, maybe 5 or so. Then read the hygrometer to see if it reflects the RH of the pack.
