I put my beads in a knee-high hose and tied the open end shut. I then wet and wrung out a paper towel. I folded the paper towel in half and wrapped it around the bead bundle before placing the two inside of a zip lock bag. After about four hours I took the two out of the bag to find the paper towel almost dry and the beads recharged without any cracking.
