Debbie Davies

Debbie Davies was at the hall last night, I liked her a good bit but did not expect her playing to blow me away. In the electric genre there is NO female that can touch her, she would blow Bonnie Raitt-Tedschi (sp)...etc right off the stage. She was MUCH better than her EX, Coco Montoya. My wife said she was one of the best guitar players she has ever seen.

Absolutely tore it up. She played Strats with P90s in the bridge got a really great tone. The only female I ever seen in her league is Rory Block but she is acoustic. Wonderful player - She is usually nominated for a Handy but IMHO there is not many better axe slingers out there male or female. I'd vote her guitar player of the year no problem.

Her newest CD Key To Love 'Songs of John Mayall' has James Cotton, Peter Green and Mick Taylor well worth a listen.
