I liked the natural version of these when all you could get was the cuban corona size.
The maduro's to me were not as rich and lacked any depth or balance in the flavor to strength department. I hoped the larger guages would help that problem and it appears it has. I smoked one of the churchills this weekend in maduro and it was very good all the way to the nub. Lots and lots of that Nic profile and just the right amount of kick and spice. Now if I can get my hands of a couple of the robustos before I jump off into a box I'll be happy. |
