Obviously despising their "white power" politics, was anyone ever enamoured of the music of bands like Sham69, Skrewdriver or the Cro Mags?

I dug the Cro-Mags in their pre-Krishna(?) days, even saw them play a couple of times over the years. I never liked Sham69 or Skrewdriver - and I despised their fans.

How about the Mentors? I loved them, but Duce was a real racist scumbag. I did the Duce bit in a Mentors cover band for a short time; what a phenomenally bad idea that was.

The Mentors were crank-freaks.

Ever see the GWAR version of Golden Showers where they cut Duce's head off?

Always liked Oi!

Skrewdriver was a great band before they went White Power.

Still love The 4 Skins, The Last Resort, Peter and the Test Tube Babies, Criminal Class, Sham 69, The Business, The Oppressed, Blitz, etc.

A friend of mine is in an Oi band called Niblick Henbane. They were one of the first American Oi! bands. They have a few CDs and are on many compilation albums.
