Bear with me this is my first documented review. I know these sticks have been out for awhile, but I was inspired. I will just tell it like it was for me.
When I first spied this cigar at the local shop, my eyes grew wide with exitement. A very fine powder covered this smoke from head to foot (wasnt mold my friends ). Construction was perfect with the exception of a nick or two under the band. Nice and firm with some nice visible veins running the lenth. The scent alone was inviting, sweet and clean. The stick took to fire very well and even. First three quarters of an inch or so were pretty spicey (seemed to be all comming togather). Ash was a light gray to white, firm, and tidey. The smoke produced from the stick appeared very blue and moderately thick with a sweet aroma. After the first inch the flavors were all comming togather. Very sweet with very natural vannila/cocoa overtones, some earthy, nutty hints as well (very yummy). Flavors and aromas stayed consistant to the end with no real change. This cigar was a little on the mild side for my tastes. I would say a medium bodied smoke. Virtually no after, after taste. Again, there was not alot of change throughout this stick. But the aroma coupled with the pleasant and naturally occuring flavors made this smoke one of the most enjoyable I've had in awhile. On Lang Daddy's scale of 1 to 10 this smoke gets an 8.5 (a little stronger and I would go with 10). |
