What Long Gone Cigar Boards Did You Frequent?

Remember mbcl? Great group.
Lunatics? Loved those guys.
JR’s? The wild wild west but what a lot of fun. Especially if you liked Papayo.

I became a Lunatic.
I would visit Club Stogie occasionally.
Serious Cigar had a board that I posted on a good bit, so did a few others including Jeff.
The various iterations of the Toraño board and the very rare visits to JR, which moved a bit TOO fast for me at times.

JR. The pace was half the fun. After it closed, I tried HP for awhile, but never really felt that I fit in there. I was a member of a private board ahd then came to CW. It was an immediate fit and I never left. When the previous owners were ready to cut it loose, I volunteered to care for it. And here we are.

I believe I started with the Cigar Aficionado forum and the break off group that was called Blowin' Smoke (BS). The CA forums are still around, but it's mostly politics now. BS has been gone for years.

I also used to look at the forums on C-Bid, but haven't done that in many, many years.

I believe CA is going to close their board at the end of July.
