NFL Pass Interference
I did not see any threads about the NFL playoffs, and I did not want to bitch about the no-call in the Saints vs. Rams playoff game. I will allow that it was, at the time, a travesty of epic proportions.
At the owners' meeting this week, Sean Payton and others on the competition committee passed a rule change and 31 of 32 owners supported it which will allow for video review of pass interference calls and no-calls. It will be subject to the usual rules of video review

I applaud Payton for not whining about the incredible no call, but rather worked through the system to see change. I wonder if Cincinnati's no vote will come back to haunt them by folks not doing so.
Really, I can't imagine why they voted no.

Mike Detilier of WWL and the M and D Draft Report is Louisiana's version of an NFL Insider/name-dropper depending upon how you look at him. I like him. His opinion on the matter is that Mike Brown, owner of the Bengals, is, simply, cheap and resistant to change. Pure and simple and will vote that way on most issues.

So, apparently there's a pattern.IIRC, this was one of the rule changes brought to practice by the new league (the sky judge).
