When I first built my coolerdor, I used a small tupperware container, approx. 6in. x 6in. Then i drilled several holes in it, and used florist foam inside. Worked just fine until I outgrew it.

Any plastic container with a lid that you can drill holes in will work. Just wash it out well if it contained something with a strong odor.

Anything plastic that you can drill holes in to let the foam breathe. The more surface area available, the better the condition inside will be.

Ditto. I took a knife and cut a few slots in the lid. If humidity gets too low I open the lid - to high I seal it.

Not a soap dish, but a plastic travel box for a bar of soap.

Available at Walmart for fifty cents or so.

Drill holes in the top half and you are good to go.

I have two coolers, a 70 qt and a 60 qt and have just one soap box in each.

That's enough, just move them around occasionally.
