Howdy,

As some mentioned before, single bladed cutters can have a crushing effect. The unit in question looks like it is solidly built, but I noticed one thing that would deter me from purchasing it. The top end of the blade looks very thin, with only the little pull nub to apply pressure to.

To me, it looks like it would be very hard to get a good solid cut when all your thumb is pushing against is a thin peice of metal and a little part of the pull nub.

These days, there are just too many good cutters out there (xikar, palio,etc) to bother with a nicely designed cutter that is poorly engineered.
