The problem with temps that low is it gets hard to keep the correct amount of humidity in the air. As temps go down the air holds less and less moisture. At 56 I'd be worried about being able to keep the humidity anywhere near where it needs to be.

If that were true you'd never see fog on a cold morning while duck hunting, and I can assure you it happens.

I keep my walk in at 58/66 and have for years. No problem.
