First El Rico Habano Gran Corona

Just had my first ERH GC that I pick up at JR in NYC last week. This was a very tasty cigar. After smoking 90% Cubans for the last few months I was taken back by the citrus, twang like taste I have craved in the Cubans. Construction was good, a little soft but with good draw. Flavor started out with a good dose of citrus that was toned down a bit at the half way mark. Over all a very enjoyable smoke.

My sentiments exactly. In fact I posted a similar note on the Review Board back in June. These gave me a close-to-cuban citrusy twang and I expect to keep them nearby at all times.

Try some of the others made by El Credito; to me they are some of the closet to Cubans you can get

I have not had this experience with La Gloria Cubana which is from El Credito. Any others that come close?

I was given two of these in a trade. When I smoked the first one, I remember the buzz and thinking this cigar needs a little age. The one I have left is now a year old, I look at it all the time whem I open my humidor, but I remember my last experience and just move on. I guess I should go ahead and smoke it and see what happens.
