Stupid Humidifier

I have one moist-n-aire unit in my humidor... now the damn thing usually works great but every once in a while it likes to toy with me it tends to be hard to get it to the right humidity and you have to sit there and just barely tap on the nob to get it to shut on /off and hope its set at the right setting. Is there anything that i could possibly plug it into with a digital hygrometer inside the humidor that controls the settings???
