2004 Arturo Fuente Don Carlos Belicoso

Country of Origin: Dominican Republic

Wrapper Color: Colorado Maduro

Wrapper type: Cameroon

Filler: Dominican

Binder: Dominican

Vitola: Belicoso

Humidimeter Reading: 62%

Environment:

Temperature: 88 degrees

Humidity: 27%

Wind: 4mph

A 5.37x52 Belicoso with a medium textured, veiny, toothy wrapper, smooth, medium length cap, firm bunch and very visible seams, and overall somewhat attractive appearance.

A razor sharp, even burn, medium sized conical coal, mottled white, very strong ash, and a perfect draw.
(Image doesn't really do the ash justice)

Excellent smoke volume and a faint, but fragrant aroma.

Of excellent richness, generous body and flavor, medium strength and perfect balance of herbal, woody and floral flavors and a medium finish of wood and light floral flavors.

No sweetness, bitterness, sharpness, or saltiness and just a very light burn on the tongue.

Of excellent character and overall excellent cigar with a final score of 94 out of 100.

Glad you liked it. I think I could be happy with only this one cigar for the rest of my cigar smoking journey. A long time favorite and always consistently good when fresh or with age.

Agreed. Other than being a little mellower, and not as pretty looking, i noticed no real difference from recent production ones
