The new release of Willett Pot Still. I scored two bottles. Very smooth for the proof.

Very nice choice, J.

Aberlour a'bunadh (Batch No. 23, an 'oldie') for me last night.

And once again yesterday evening. Alas, it was my last pour of this excellent malt from the bottle. Definitely among the best batches of a'bunadh, though perhaps not quite the equal of Batch No. 6, which was truly stupendous.

Bulleit Barrel Strength (Batch No. 06) last night, poured over ice. A nice way to smooth out the high alcohol and accentuate the sweetness and roundness of the Bourbon. Tasty!

Glenlivet Archive 21 Year Old last night. This bottle isn't going to take long to empty!

National championship game?

Evan Williams, bottled in bond, 100 proof with a couple of ice cubes to chill and open up the flavor. If you can find it (lately the big bottles are getting hard to find), I recommend that you try it. Right now I think it's the best value bourbon on the market ($27/1,75l).

Naturally, I much prefer Elijah Craig, but at a much higher price point (it's getting harder to find as well).

Cheers, and ROLL TIDE!
