Padron experts and aficionados

How does the 2000 and 3000 compare to the Londres?

I've only had a handful of Padrons, and all were the Londres, which I have loved, but they are nearly impossible to find, so looking for alternatives with the same flavor, and the 2000 and 3000 are pretty budget friendly, so if they taste like the Londres, I'd jump on them.

Thanks,
Sean

It's been a long time but I always thought the thousand series Padrons with the exception of the 6000 were all fairly similar. I think if you like one, you'll like them all.

Thanks tonycsmoke.

Appreciate the opinion.

Will have to grab some 2000's or 3000's and see how it goes

The Londres, IF I remember correctly was in production when the Thousands started coming out 20-21 years ago or so. The regular line was already out, the PAN and PAM had come out very recently, they were the toast of Padron and the toast of CW.

The PAN and the PAM were significantly better than the regular line, which is doggone good, by-the-by, but the Thousands were an improvement. I remember this board eagerly awaiting the 5000 and the 6000.

Haven't had a Padron in ages.

Thanks TommyBB

Good info as i have just fairly recently discovered Padron, and all I've had is about 5 Londres, all with at least a couple years on them, and one from Bruce he sent for me to reveal along with all the others he sent, that i dont recall the date of offhand, but definitely 2010 or prior, so even with them, I haven't had any recent production ones.

The 5000 definitely seems to be pretty popular as most vendors i saw in a quick Google search were out of stock on them.

Did adjust my planned January order to fit in a 5 pack of the 3000 Naturals to try out, picked solely due to their larger size i prefer, than the 2000 and 3000.

The 2000 is the only one I 've seen in stock anywhere. Same flavors as londres, just 50rg. The ones I saw and bought are pretty much gone.

My daily stick is the Padron 5000 Maduro. And has been for years. The quality and consistency is on point. I would recommend if your wheelhouse is mid to full.

The vendor i plan to use for my order only carries the 2000,3000, 4000, and 7000, both Maduro or Natural, aside from a couple with the Maduro out of stock.

Is the 5000 a different Blend from the 2000, 3000 and 4000?

Descriptions make it seem they are the same, just 56rg vs the 3000 with 52rg.
