NC Bolivar and San Cristobal

How are the NC Bolivar and San Cristobals?

I'm seeing a lot of their offerings for a decent price on Perfect Cigar Blend and am wondering if I should get some to try, and which specific ones are the better/most popular ones

Thanks,
Sean

IMHO the San Cristobal NC's are good to go. Great blend and flavor. I'm kind of a Pepin whore though, so YMMV.

The San Cristobal is a great cigar. The Bolivar is just a lower grade and not as enjoyable.

I smoked the San Cristobals when they came out years ago and thought they were pretty good. The problem with Pepin's stuff is they all start tasting the same to me after a while, which is why I don't smoke them or Tats anymore. Probably have a bunch of old Tats in the humidor that I'll never smoke.

Overwhelming black pepper from the outset. I like My Father's cigars, mind you, but I notice the same thing from Tio Pepe (I have a couple left, thanks to Red,) to Old Henry, and so on.

I'm sure some hardcore Tat fan would love some aged Tats.

Find one and bomb the bastard if you honestly believe that you wont smoke them.

Or sell or trade them in the marketplace. I'm sure someone would snatch them up.

No need to just be collecting dust and passing their prime.

Just a thought. They're yours, so do as you please

Sean, I understand that you're trying to be helpful, but I'm not exactly new to cigar forums or the cigar hobby. You're stating the obvious here.

I get what you're saying, but I've been on a Tat bender recently. They are some damn fine smokes. I'd say sell them, but they would be a great cigar to pull out and smoke from time to time. I smoked myself silly on Oliva, and Tats was a nice change.

My thinking as well which is why I've hung on to them.
