I have to admit that I nub almost everything. I tend to smoke slowly though, so the cigar rarely gets hot. I also tend to purge the cigar at least once, whether it needs it or not, just as a precaution.

With that said, I did notice that with a Mr. B candela that I smoked about a week ago it started to get a sour taste past the band. I purged it, and it did seem to improve, but I ended up tossing it sooner than I normally would have. But for about a $1 a stick it's hard to complain.
