How do you humidify?
I just finished my china cabinet conversion and was wondering the most cost effective and easiest form of humidification.
I have 8lbs of Kitty litter pearls from a couple years ago that I didn't end up using in the wine cooler and I would like to use them because it would cost me nothing out of pocket. Anybody use them for a cabinet?

The B&M I go to has two cabinet humidors and a walk-in. The cabinets are both humidified using the litter. edit: my coolers are setup with beads. I couldn't find the litter anywhere.... |

That's good news. I have been experimenting the last two days with the litter. I put two bowls in a large freezer bag, one with charged pearls and one dry. Right now it says 67%.

I use the kitty litter silica beads in my fridgedor. Works fine for me. As the weather got cold and the humidity decreased, I had to add a bit of distilled water to the beads. My humidity came back up to 65%, just where I like it.

Beads, but I just got a wine cooler and a hydra humidifier and I'll be using that along with my little bit of beads and some kl from some generous BOTLs to control the humidity.
