Pulled out an old cd...
John Fogerty's Centerfield. Good old stuff.
Haven't heard much from him lately.

Don't have it on c/d. Maybe I will have to pull out the vinyl.

I like his music just fine, but I think he's kind of being an asshole with the whole Creedence thing. JMHO...

I don't know what the 'whole Creedence' thing
is but he was CCR. If your recall he had to go to court becuase he old record company that owned CCR rights accused him of sounding like himself

. I am not a big fan don't own anything but I like his simplistic style

The deal now is he owns the name and won't let his brother and other former band mates use it. I'm not a fan of Classic Rock Reunion Tours, but they do have their place...

It's kind of like what Roger Waters tried to pull after he left Pink Floyd.

I can see both sides. What would Floyd be without Waters or CCR without Fogarty. Its' like Buddy Miles forming 'A Band Of Gypsys' with a normal guitar player. You know you got to preserve the legacy of the band a terrible reunion can be terrible. ON the flip side hey the other members were there also.

Well considering his brother is dead this can't be too big a deal. Remember the brother and the other two guys sided with the the guy Fogarty said ripped him off.
